1. Confirm the plot exists in DHA's record
Every genuine plot has a number inside a block inside a phase, and it appears in DHA's GIS record. Look the plot up on the official map before anything else — our plot finder carries every DHA Lahore plot from that record, so a plot that is not on it deserves hard questions.
2. Verify the owner and the dues at DHA
Ownership is what DHA's transfer office says it is — not what a photocopy says, and not what anyone tells you on the phone. Ask for verification at DHA, and confirm outstanding dues and surcharges at the same time; unpaid dues quietly become the buyer's problem.
3. Stand on the plot
Go to the plot itself. See how deep it sits from the road — filling costs real money. Check what is around it: the wires, the distribution box, the water tank, the neighbour's construction. If it was sold as a corner or park-facing plot, confirm that with your own eyes, because those claims carry a premium.
4. Match the ground with the papers
Two plots of the same marla size can differ in dimensions, and a plot short on one side trades at a discount. Compare the size in DHA's record with what you see measured on the ground before you agree a final price.
5. Ask what the block really trades at
One plot priced well below its block is not luck — it is information you do not have yet. Ask for recent demands in the same block and size, and ask why this one is different. A seller with a clean answer will give it quickly.
