The name exists — as an unbuilt competition

This is the one genuinely independent thing we found. In 2020 an architecture studio entered a design competition called DHA Food Arena, in Lahore — five low masses of food and beverage outlets with a lounge and seating, meant to create a small climate of its own inside a residential area. The studio records the status of that design in one word: unbuilt.

So DHA did run a Food Arena competition. What we could not confirm is the phase, the sector, the twenty kanal, the money or the Royal Orchard involvement — all of that traces to a single page on one private property portal, with no date and no document reference. DHA's own site carries no Food Arena anywhere.

What DHA's site does carry, in Phase 6, is a twenty-two kanal entertainment complex in Sector K — still listed as land available to partners. The size and phase are close. We are not saying they are the same thing; we are saying it is worth knowing.

Two name traps. The "DHA Food Street" that comes up in searches is in Karachi, not Lahore. And "Orchard Food Arena" is a food court inside a mall in Bahria Orchard — a different developer, a different place.

Where Phase 6 actually eats

Worth knowing before anyone tells you Phase 6 needs a food destination: the Fairways commercial at Defence Raya already has around thirty-seven food and beverage brands open. Spice Bazaar runs on the Main Boulevard and inside Dolmen Mall. Phase 6 is the best-fed phase in DHA Lahore.
