DHA has drawn it but not built it
DHA's own joint-venture booklet has an eateries chapter with two facing pages. One is headed with what DHA has achieved so far and carries real photographs of brands already trading. The other is headed with what is becoming reality — and on it sits a computer drawing of a standalone OPTP building, complete with its signboard and a separate delivery entrance.
So DHA itself is filing this under coming, not built. We confirmed the same by pulling the full restaurant list behind one of the delivery apps — nearly thirty thousand outlets nationwide, ninety-nine of them OPTP, and not one in Rahbar.
A trap worth avoiding: there is an OPTP about four kilometres from Rahbar that shows up in map searches. It is in Bahria Town Safari Villas, not DHA Phase 11. Anyone searching "OPTP near Rahbar" will hit it and wrongly conclude the branch is open.
Why Rahbar needs it
Sector 1B is not a separate sector — it is Block B of Sector 1, the oldest and most settled part of Phase 11, and DHA's own Rahbar administration office sits in it. Sector 1 is where the phase actually lives.
And Rahbar is thin on brand-name eating. The delivery apps list around eight restaurants for the whole of DHA Rahbar, with one international fast-food anchor and one hypermarket. That is why the only food-sector land DHA is currently offering to partners anywhere in DHA Lahore is here — two small plots in Sector 1A. DHA knows where the gap is.
