The man the complex is named for
Captain Fasih Babar Amin of the Armoured Corps was martyred on 21 June 2012 in South Waziristan. He was serving as GSO-3 Operations with 24 Infantry Brigade, the Chawinda Brigade, and had moved forward with his Brigade Commander to the blocking position at Tangi Top to watch over an operation code-named Allah Wali Strike-2. He was shaheed there. On 23 March 2013 the President of Pakistan announced the award of Sitara-e-Basalat to him, posthumously.
After his martyrdom both his sister and his younger brother joined the Pakistan Army — Captain Hina Babar and Captain Fahad Babar. The fullest account of his life we could find was written by his sister, and published in Hilal, the magazine of the Inter Services Public Relations. She titled it: lived with grace and left with pride.
Unofficial pages give his unit as 23 Cavalry and a date of birth. Only Armoured Corps is confirmed by an official source, so that is all we print. On a martyr's page, a guess is not acceptable.

A number we deliberately left out
DHA's sports joint-venture page lists four kanal against Phase 6 Sector A for this complex. That is not the size of the complex — it is a parcel inside or beside it that DHA is offering to an investor. Four kanal could not hold a cricket stadium. DHA publishes no total land figure for the complex, and neither do we.
Where these rates come from
Every figure on this page is from a rate sheet DHA Lahore published itself in December 2025. We have not rounded them, converted them or averaged them. Where DHA gives a registration fee and a monthly fee separately, we have kept them separate, because they are separate payments.
Rates change. Check the date on this page against today's date, and if a long time has passed, ring the complex before you count on a number. We would rather you rang than that we quietly refreshed a figure we could not verify.
Common questions
An officer of the Armoured Corps, martyred on 21 June 2012 in South Waziristan while serving as GSO-3 Operations with 24 Infantry Brigade. He was awarded the Sitara-e-Basalat posthumously, announced on 23 March 2013.
Not according to any DHA source or DHA's own fee schedule. Several blogs say there is one; we could not confirm it, so we are not claiming it.
DHA does not publish the figure. The four kanal shown on DHA's joint-venture page is a plot being offered to an investor, not the size of the complex.
