Goldcrest Mall & Residency

Goldcrest Mall & Residency is the building most people in Phase 4 use as a landmark. It was built by Giga Group — the group behind Giga Mall in Islamabad and Goldcrest Bay Sands in DHA Karachi — as a joint venture with DHA Lahore, and buyers receive their allotment letter from DHA.

Interestingly, the chief executive behind it also heads Suria Group, which is building DHA Condominiums in Phase 4 — so the same hand is behind two of DHA Lahore's larger private projects.

• Basement — Al-Fatah superstore, which occupies the basement, Level 0 and Level 1 together, plus a dental clinic and the men's prayer room.
• Level 0 — the shops: Adidas, Cambridge, Edenrobe, Zeen, The Linen Company, Charcoal, Monark, Almas Jewellers, Fine Jewels, Mashriq, Little People, Rafiq Sons, Techroid, Baseus and more. Go Sushi, Loafology and Torta's for food, plus about twenty kiosks including Oppo, Saeed Ghani, Baskin-style stalls and nail bars.
• Level 1 — the upper part of Al-Fatah, and Krazy Cart.
• Level 2 — Pizza Hut, the Funation indoor amusement centre (4.7 out of 5 from over 800 reviews of its own), an aesthetics clinic, several food kiosks and the ladies' prayer room.
• Level 3 — Bagh, a restaurant that opens at 8 in the morning and runs to 11 at night, and Oxygym.
• Level 4 terrace — Space Padel, an open-air padel facility.

Two corrections worth making, because older dealer pages still repeat them. There is no cinema: the mall's own directory of 55 brands lists none, and Lahore's cinema listings do not include Goldcrest. And "Fun City on the lower ground" is out of date — the venue today is Funation on Level 2.

Google's own review tags answer this plainly: the two words that appear most in reviews are "brands" and "grocery". Al-Fatah alone carries more than 3,500 reviews of its own — nearly as many as the whole mall. The mall's real anchor is the superstore.

The mall also runs its own events calendar — it claims more than twenty-five a year, and the recent ones are real and dated: a Winter Bazaar in November 2025, a Basant cultural festival in February 2026, a Ramadan bazaar in March, and a pet carnival called Pawtopia in August 2026.

We are including this because a page that only lists brand names is not much use. A Google Local Guide review from mid-2026 puts it bluntly: a fairly basic mall by DHA standards, a countable number of brands, the upper portion quiet, and parking a headache that pushes people onto the street.

That is worth setting against the official position, which is free covered parking for all visitors across four basement levels. Both are true: the parking exists, and at busy times it fills. Residents separately report sound carrying between apartments and lifts needing attention.

Two very different markets share one building. Apartments trade steadily: in September 2026 there were 22 flats listed for sale and 36 for rent, in sizes from about 880 to nearly 2,000 square feet. Shops almost never come up — on the same day there was exactly one shop for sale and none for rent at all.

Some owners also let their flats by the night — the building appears on hotel and short-stay sites under the Goldcrest Apartments name, with its own separate reviews. That is worth knowing whether you are buying to live, buying to let, or simply expecting a quiet residential floor.

In a shared building, always ask two questions before you sign: what is the monthly maintenance, and is the unit on a DHA allotment or a share of the building. They decide your real return more than the price does.
