IMC Hospital (Integrated Medical Care)

For years DHA's own project page described the Integrated Medical Complex as a day-care health facility with twenty-five beds, thirty-five per cent complete, due to open by the end of 2020. That description never changed — archived copies from 2021, 2025 and late 2025 are word for word identical — and the page has since been removed from DHA's site altogether.

On the ground the position is completely different. IMC is a 125-bed multi-speciality hospital. It has been open since around October 2021, its emergency department and ICU were inaugurated in January 2022, and it has since done cardiac bypass surgery, bariatric surgery and IVF, and holds transplant registrations for both kidneys and corneas.

One more difference worth naming: DHA's old page listed dentistry among the services. The hospital's own department list has no dentistry at all.

This is why the DHA-record rule needs a companion rule. DHA's record is final on what a plot is — its number, its size, its sector. But on what is standing on that plot today, the ground wins, and the ground here is a working hospital.

IMC describes itself as privately owned, established through a joint venture with DHA Lahore. It was founded by Professor Dr Muhammad Tayyib, an eye surgeon, and Dr Naeem Uddin Mian, a public health specialist, with two partners. Day to day it is run by a chief executive and a medical director, with a staff the hospital puts at over six hundred and more than a hundred consultants listed.

We will not pretend the reviews are uniformly good. On Google the hospital stands at about 3.7 out of 5 from more than five hundred reviews — a mixed score. Praise clusters around the emergency department and individual consultants; the recurring complaint is about ward nursing. The hospital's own physiotherapy department is rated far higher, around 4.8, separately.

A hospital inside the phase is one of the quiet things that hold a residential area's price up. Families with small children and elderly parents ask about it before they ask about the park. In Phase 5 and the near sectors of Phase 6, "a hospital in the phase" is now part of the answer — and the hospital has since opened a second outpatient centre in Phase 6 as well.
