What it is
In January 2023 Hyatt announced a franchise agreement with FP Global (Pvt) Ltd for a Hyatt Regency in DHA Phase 6, Lahore, of around ninety-four rooms, planned to open in 2024. It would be the first international hotel brand inside DHA Lahore.
The lesson in the delay
As of the middle of 2026 the project was still being listed as under construction — roughly two years past its announced opening. That is worth sitting with, because it is the best-case scenario on this whole hub: a global brand, a named local partner, a public announcement, and still two years late.
Hold that against the MOUs elsewhere on this hub — signed with companies that have no website, no registration trace and no completed project. If Hyatt runs two years late, an unsigned intent with an untraceable partner deserves no date at all.
