Every DHA hall, with its capacity
Read the first row against all the others. The Phase 5 event halls hold five hundred each, with three hundred cars underground. Every other DHA hall tops out at a hundred and twenty. There is no middle option — you are either booking a wedding venue or a dinner room, and DHA has one of the first and eleven of the second.

What DHA charges
We do not know, and neither does anyone publishing a figure. DHA prints no rate for any of these halls on any of its pages. It gives booking numbers and nothing else. For the Phase 5 halls, the numbers are 042-37183123 and 042-37183124.
A venue-listing website quotes the Defence Club J hall at a starting rate with a capacity of five hundred. DHA's own figures put the largest room at that club at a hundred and ten. Either the listing is a nearby marquee or the capacity is wrong — either way we are not repeating the rate.
The marriage lawn DHA has not built
On DHA's joint-venture list there is a marriage lawn — plot 411/1, Sector Z1, Phase 8 IVY, 22.5 kanal. That is the whole entry. No partner has been signed for it, no tender has been issued and nothing has been built on it. Dealer sites describing Ivy Green list a marriage lawn among its amenities; that is marketing copy for a piece of empty ground.
Ivy Green itself is worth knowing about. It is Sector Z of Phase 8, split into Z1 to Z6, walled, around five thousand seven hundred kanal, about 2.7 kilometres in from Barki Road opposite Phase 8's S Block — and it was built for the next of kin of shuhada and for war-wounded personnel.
Private venues in and around DHA
Several private marquees and banquet halls operate in and beside DHA — among the names that come up are Luxe in Park View Phase 8, Elite Marquee in Phase 1 T Block, Qasr-e-Noor near Phase 8 Ex Park View and Saphire Marquee opposite Phase 7. We are naming them only so you know the market exists.
We are not printing their rates or capacities. The listing sites we found contradict each other on their addresses, let alone their prices, and a wrong per-head figure on a wedding page is worse than no figure at all. Ring them.
